After reading the article about the Boyertown same-sex locker room dispute, why did the boy labeled as Joel Doe have to use single occupancy or staff bathrooms instead of the locker room which is his right to use? Let the transgender student be ushered into staff bathrooms and single occupancy. That is the person that’s causing this whole upheaval so make special arrangements for him or her.

Don’t understand what the problem is with the Pottstown Post Office. Periodically get mail, a little snow falls you get no mail, then you don’t get mail for three or four days. This isn’t the first time I’ve complained. I’ve called Washington, called congressmen. I don’t understand how these postal workers can have a job.

Disgusted in Manatawny Village

Over the last eight years we were told after the fact no prayer in schools, no Commandments in the courthouse, no manger scenes at Christmas and many other things that we did not know about. Now the boys and girls are to use the same locker room to undress? Enough is enough. We who love righteousness should stand up and be counted. Let the good overrule the evil that has been cropping up. God bless us all.

I think it is a disgrace that we have to pay taxes on that community college. Montgomery County never even notified that was going to happen. They slapped $38 on my property taxes, otherwise it would have been the same as last year. Now we have to pay for someone else’s kids to go to college. What’s up with that?

After watching Trump refuse to shake hands with Angela Merkel I read that he is intimidated by intelligent women. As I look at the women he chooses to surround himself with it sounds credible.

I live in the north end of New Hanover Township and I recently saw a coyote going through my property and I was wondering if anybody else has seen any coyotes around in their part of the township?

If we could keep Trump from taking vacations every week it could pay for the meals for the elderly and heating assistance. Seven excursions to the winter palace in Florida and a short time in office at $3.5 million a trip adds up fast. Meanwhile the rich people are going to get huge tax breaks. Does that sound like making America great again? No.

In California I keep hearing that they’re going to change something with their food stamps to keep people from buying soft drinks and then taking the bottles back for the refund. Well guess what? You can’t take the bottles back because you have to have your store receipt to prove that you paid for them. It’s on there if they bought it with their food stamps. The five or 10 cents per bottle would go on the food stamps. Someone needs to tell those people what the rules are.

With all the Uber drivers out there today is the DUI count going down or is it the same? You’d think it would be going down. I wonder if anybody knows the stats on that? I use Uber and I think it’s the best way to go out.

I’ve got the answer for Trump and all of his followers in Congress that are being led around by the nose. They can dump the Health Care Act if they would just give every American citizen the same exact coverage that Congress has. It would be great.

For the few people whose biggest concern is if Trump is going to break Obama’s record of Trump playing more games of golf faster than Obama did during his term, Trump has already and will do more for America in his first 100 days than Obama did in his eight years, cleaning up Obama’s mess. Please get your priorities straight.

I just read in The Political that the Secret Service just asked for $60 million more on top of what they already got to cover Trump’s fiasco, what he’s been doing, golfing trips here and there and all over. So $60 million of taxpayers’ money. Deplorable.

Congratulations to the Owen J. Roberts High School for the wonderful presentation of Cinderella. The singers were marvellous, the dances were well coordinated and great, the costumes were fabulous and the orchestra was wonderful. I especially liked the carriage and four white horses. As usual they put on a most enjoyable show. Everyone was captivated by the music, singing, dancing and updated story lines. Thank you for a most delightful and magnificent presentation.

It Was Great

To Tom, the mailman that served mail at Columbia and Callowhill, miss you, the best to you on your new route. One of the greatest mailmen I have ever had. Lots of luck Tom.
