TriCounty Chamber schedules Annual Dinner
POTTSTOWN >> The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled its Annual Dinner for Wednesday, April 26 from 5 to 9 p.m. at RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve, 100 Golf Club Drive, Phoenixville. The event will mark the chamber’s 90th anniversary and is the largest networking event of the year.
Paul Butler — an instructor, speaker, emcee and consultant — is the keynote speaker, and will present “Leadership for a Lifetime.” Butler’s presentation will cover some of the most important leadership traits, and how to use the lessons of yesterday to overcome the challenges of today and capitalize on the opportunities of tomorrow.
In addition, the chamber will present its “2017 Chamber Stars Awards” for: Business/Enterprise of the Year; Entrepreneur of the Year; The Andrew J. Paravis Excellence in Local Government or Education; and Nonprofit of the Year.
The cost of the event is $90 per member; $850 per member table of 10; $150 per non-member.

MANATAWNY STILL WORKS ANNOUNCES THIRD ANNIVERSARY WHISKEY >> April 1 will kick off with the noon release of Manatawny Still Works’ anniversary whiskey at the distillery, located at 20 Circle of Progress Drive Suite 104, Pottstown.
The whiskey (aged a minimum of three years) is the sister of Manatawny’s original aged whiskey, Small BATCH01, which was aged just eight months when it was released in 2015. One barrel is being bottled, so an estimated 200 bottles will be for sale on Saturday.
In addition, the distillery has scheduled a day of programming. Recycled Tails Animal Rescue will have dogs for adoption on site all day at Manatawny Still Works, and there will also be food and entertainment.
