North Coventry: The annual Pasta Dinner hosted by the Owen J. Roberts Music Parent Association will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Cedarville United Methodist Church, 1092 Laurelwood Road. Menu includes Devault meatballs, spaghetti, salad and dessert. The event will feature the Owen J. Roberts high school, middle school and elementary jazz bands and entertainment performed by individual high school students and groups. Tickets at the door are $10 Adults, $8 Seniors (65 and older) and students, children under 5 are free. Proceeds benefit the Owen J. Roberts marching band and color guard.
Boyertown: The Boyertown Area Historical Society meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, at the society building, 43 S. Chestnut St. The featured speaker will be Ronald A. Sloto, author of “The Minerals and Mines of Berks County,” who will talk on mining in Berks County with an emphasis on the Boyertown iron mines. His 443-page illustrated book will be for sale. Refreshments will be served after the meeting. All are welcome and non-member donations gratefully accepted.
Schwenksville: The Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy’s annual Stream Clean-up will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 8. Cleanup sites are located throughout the watershed. Several sites are in need of volunteers with boats. Pottstown: A LuLaRoe Fashion Show will be hosted from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 7, at Manatawny Manor, 30 Old Schuylkill Road. Proceeds will benefit the Manatawny Manor benevolent care fund. For more information, call 610-705-3700.
