Pearl (Keen) Dunlap, 95, wife of the late Robert F. Dunlap, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in the Seasons Hospice, Phoenixvil­le. Pearl and her late husband were married for 57 years.

She was born in East Coventry, a daughter to the late Clarence and Elsie (Bealer) Keen. Pearl resided all her life in East Coventry, she was a graduate of the former Spring City High School, and an active member of The Pughtown Baptist Church, where she volunteere­d with various activities including Bible Study and helping with church dinners. Pearl and her late husband volunteere­d and were chairman of the East Coventry and Vincent Meals on Wheels.

She was employed for the former Strafford Knitting Mill in Linfield until she was married and employed for many years at the former Lincoln Underwear Mill Pottstown. Pearl and her late husband were avid gardeners raising over 250 different varieties of Iris and sold Christmas trees. She enjoyed traveling taking trips to Israel and other places.

She is survived by her two sons, Randall Dunlap, of East Coventry, and Barry Dunlap, husband of Roberta “Bobbie,” of Reading; and her two brothers, Leonard and Robert Keen.

Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral service at Pughtown Baptist Church, 780 Pughtown Road, Spring City, on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1 p.m. The Rev. Sam Geiger will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church from noon to 1 p.m..
