Lynda Thompson Heck, 74, of Royersford

Lynda Thompson Heck, 74, of Royersford, wife of the late Butch Heck, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017 at her residence.

Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Robert R. Thompson II, and Grace (Beard) Thompson.

Lynda was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Spring City, where she also worked at the preschool for over 20 years. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Lynda also enjoyed going to the beach, traveling, playing golf, playing cards and going on cruises.

Surviving are two daughters Melinda Swartley, wife of Bob, of Trappe, and Melissa Souders, wife of Ron, of Schwenksville; one son, Robert “Thom” Heck, husband of Lisa, of Gilbertsville; 10 grandchildren Heather Heffner, Brianna Swartley, Kaela Swartley, Kendra Heck, Taylor Souders, Wyatt Swartley, Bobby Heck, Zach Souders, Josh Heck and Aubrey Souders; and one brother Robert R. Thompson III, husband of Marlene.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 39 Bonnie Brae Road, Spring City, PA 19475, with the Rev. Paul D. Townsend officiating. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. both at the church.
