Lois J. Panoc, 79, of Frederick
Lois J. Panoc, 79, wife of the late Elmer P. Panoc, of Frederick, PA, formerly of Pottstown, PA died Wednesday afternoon, April 5, 2017 in the Frederick Living Community in Frederick, PA. Born on January 6, 1938 in Gibraltar, PA, she was a daughter of the late Homer F. Judy and Evelyn L. (Baum) Spielman. She was a 1955 graduate of the former Royersford High School. Lois worked for 31 years at the Borough of Pottstown as Secretary to the Borough Manager before retiring in June 1999. During her years at the Borough, she served the public with an industrious work ethic and a friendly professional manner. She valued the many friendships made during her time at the Borough.
Lois was a long time member of Royersford United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing golf and bingo and played in a women’s golf league at Gilberstville Golf Course. She also enjoyed traveling with her late husband and many trips to favorite places with her special girlfriends. She was active in planning and participating in high school class reunions and an active supporter of Pottstown Relay for Life. She was a devoted mother and loving grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mrs. Panoc is survived by daughter, Linda K., wife of David B. Everett of Spring City, PA; brother, Donald H., husband of Maryann Judy of Royersford, PA; stepdaughter, Helen, wife of Barry Hess of Robesonia, PA; three grandchildren, Sarah E. Everett, Gregory B. Everett and Jan Hess; one great-grandson, one niece, Debbie Judy and two nephews, Donnie and Dennie Judy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at the Royersford United Methodist Church, 380 Church Street, Royersford, PA on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 11am. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Bradley F. Mellon. Burial will be held in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 9:45 - 10:45 Monday at the Church.
