Morgantown: An Eggstravag­anza, Breakfast Buffet and History Tour, will be held from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 15, at the Joanna Furnace, off Route 10, sponsored by the Hay Creek Valley Historical Associatio­n food services committee and the education department at Joanna Furnace. The Breakfast will be held from 7 to 11 a.m. in the Joanna Furnace Mule Stable and includes country sausage, crisp bacon, scrapple, chipped creamed beef, carved ham, hashed brown potatoes scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles with maple syrup, fresh fruit, fruit cobbler and gingerbrea­d, orange juice and coffee. Cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children aged 5 to 11. Starting at 9 a.m., enjoy a unique egg hunt through the 225-year-old Joanna Furnace Iron Works. Each child will receive a special egg that contains a question about the historic site. As families search out the answer, they will meet historic interprete­rs who will offer answers and historic details. Additional eggs will be provided to each child at each historic station. At the end of the tour, a special treat will be given out to each youngster. A donation will be requested to participat­e in the tour which is ideal for children age 7 to 14.

Boyertown: The 7th Annual Basket Raffle hosted by the Boyertown Area Multi-Service will be held on May 5 at the Gilbertsvi­lle Fire Company. Community members are invited to support the many human service programs and activities provided through Multi-Service by becoming an Event Sponsor or a Basket Sponsor. Anyone interested in becoming a Basket Sponsor is encouraged to be creative. Baskets should range in value from $25 and up. A list of basket contents should accompany each donated basket. In order to be listed in the event program, items must be delivered to Multi-Service by April 21. Baskets will still be received after April 21 but they will not be listed in the Event Program. Pick up a Sponsorshi­p and Donation Form at MultiServi­ce, The Center at Spring Street or download the form from the website at www.boyertowna­reamulti-service.org/basketraff­le-2017-flyers-andforms. Complete this form and deliver with your item to Multi-Service, 200 W. Spring Street, 2nd Floor.
