The mayor of Phoenixville should not be condoning an undocumented rally when he’s the head of the police department. Illegal means illegal. Changing the terminology once an illegal alien is here to undocumented does not negate the crime of crossing the border illegally.

Mayor Speck, with regard to your comments involving illegal immigrants and your comment that undocumented is not a crime, you are in error sir. Illegal entry into the United States which results in the undocumented state is a crime and you are supporting crime when you support illegal immigrants in this country.

Please inform The Mercury of the next planned protest for undocumented refugees and I’ll be sure to show up with a sheet for protesters to sign guaranteeing that they pay and be responsible solely for at least one family of refugees themselves. Be interesting to see how many mouths and opinions back up their ideas and just how many quickly flee. Don’t volunteer your opinions at the expense of my wallet.

This is to the person that claimed “pay now or pay later” concerning the Montgomery County Community College fee on the tax bill. Let the parents pay. My husband and I paid to have both of our children attend college with no help. Maybe because we were responsible parents we should get a rebate for paying for college ourselves. To the people who are thinking about developing a bike center like a velodrome in the area, I would like to suggest a wonderful place for them to build and that would be near Bally near the Padre Pio Center. Keller Williams has 183-plus beautiful farm acres for sale and I’d much rather see a velodrome go in there then any more houses on that road. So if anyone knows who it is that’s planning on developing this velodrome please pass this onto them.
