Thank you to Boscov’s for the free tickets for the jazz show at the Doubletree Hotel in Reading. It was wonderful. It was a New York City jazz group. Then we ate lunch there at, I think it was called “Cheers,” and the food was excellent and I’m going to go there again.

I hope that the Route 663 bridge will be open that goes into Pennsburg and that they won’t close that road like they’ve done with the Keim Street bridge in Pottstown. Route 663 is a very heavily traveled road so I hope they do something very quickly about that and that it doesn’t hang there for a couple of months to a year before it gets fixed.

Boyertown School District does not give a moment of silence to students who have committed suicide over the past year. There are multiple teenagers alone this year that have committed suicide and there has been no recognition for them because they are not one of the most well-known popular sports athletic kids. But there are teenagers who are silent in the halls, who get ignored daily and they commit suicide and no one bats an eye. It just gets pushed under the carpet. Why is it when your spouse passes away the people you thought were your friends now they are always so busy? They seem to never find the time to invite you, call or stop over. That means they never really were your friend.

This is to Reedy about the Masters and Tiger Woods. I think if I’m mistaken he has four Masters wins. There’s only one other person that has more wins than that and that’s Jack Nicklaus. Four wins is not too bad for a guy that’s been hurt a lot of times. Think about that.

On Thursday when Scott and Larry were broadcasting the Phillies ballgame I thought Scott said that a guy that was playing that day was from Pennsburg, Pa. Nobody else I guess listens on the radio like I have to so if you heard that send your message into Sound Off please.

To the person that said Martha needs to step down for once. I don’t understand your post here. All she’s doing is defending herself against people that are bashing her and her beliefs. Maybe you need to step down.

I see where we are going to pay $30,000 to $50,000 for that convict to get his treatment for hepatitis C. He’s the one that made a mockery out of our judicial system and he’s the one that killed Officer Faulkner. Only in America.

Hey Reedy, no one cares if Tiger Woods is not playing in this year’s Masters but you my friend. All great golfers’ games slow down and come to an end. At the end of the day Tiger Woods will always be recognized as the greatest money-earner in the name of the game. Does that make him the best?

It’s a funny thing how the Republicans all of a sudden want to pass a health care bill. They never cared about health care. Obama got the ball rolling and now they want to get part of it but what have they ever been part of? Anything that we enjoy today was a result of the Democratic Party. Republicans are the party of no. Now all of a sudden they want their name on health care. I don’t think so.

Sen. Bob Casey called the president out on not calling Bashar al-Assad of Syria a war criminal after using chemical weapons on his own people but Mr. Casey where were you in 2013 when Obama drew the red line in the sand, you remember that one? And then he did use chemical weapons. Where were your comments then? It’s typical, just another hypocrite.

I’m a United States citizen born and raised, worked all my life, paid taxes all my life. Now I’m a retired citizen on a fixed income, a very low fixed income and still paying taxes. I would like to know how I can become an illegal alien so I don’t have to pay taxes and get insurance, food and everything else for free.
