Ethel S. (Seasholtz) Friedman, 97, of Pottstown

Ethel S. (Seasholtz) Friedman, 97, of Pottstown, widow of Maurice D. Friedman, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Manatawny Manor Nursing Home, Pottstown.

Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry Seasholtz and the late Bertha (Seeders) Seasholtz.

Ethel was a secretary for the former Stamm & Son Insurance Agency for many years, and also worked for the former M.E. Yohn & Son.

She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Pottstown, where she was a quilter & member of the Ladies Bible Society.

Ethel was a volunteer at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center for many years.

She is survived by a son, David M. Friedman, Downingtown; a daughter, Judith F. Morrow, Douglassville, two grandchildren, Allison Merrell, Thomas Morrow, Jr.; and three great grandsons. She was predeceased by two sisters, Harriet Kalis, Betty Seasholtz.

A funeral service will be held 10:30 A.M. on Saturday April 15, 2017 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 548 Old Swede Road, Douglassville. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. There will be a viewing Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the church.
