Phoenixville attorney named a ‘2017 Pennsylvania Rising Star’
POTTSTOWN >> The law firm of O’Donnell, Weiss & Mattei, P.C. has announced that attorney Rebecca A. Hobbs has been named a ‘2017 Pennsylvania Rising Star’ by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Magazine and superlawyers.com.
Hobbs received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Eastern University in 2006 and her Juris Doctor degree from Regent University School of Law in 2009. She has practiced elder law for more than seven years and focuses her practice on: Long- TermCare Planning, Medicaid, Estate Planning, Special Needs Planning, Veterans Benefits, and Estate and Trust Administration.
Hobbs is a Certified Elder Law Attorney, she is an accredited attorney with the Department of Veteran Affairs, and she is also amember of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys. She is an active member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, serving in both Elder Law Sections. She serves on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Charitable Organizations Committee and the Pennsylvania Bar Association Legal Services to Persons with Disabilities Committee.
Hobbs currently resides in Phoenixville with her husband and two children. She is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

PMMC NAMES EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH FOR MAY >> Daniel Griggs, a paramedic with Pottstown Memorial Medical Center has been named the hospital’s Employee of the Month. Griggs was nominated by Brett Fazik. The recognition is based upon the PMMC designated Pillars of Excellence (Service, Growth, Finance, People, and Quality).
Griggs was chosen under the Service and People pillars for consistently going above and beyond to ensure every patient, family and friends are treated to the highest level.
