Schwenksville: A free program on honey bees will be presented from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at
Pennypacker Mills,
5 Haldeman Road, in the classroom building by beekeeper, Scott Famous. Look for a live hive (totally enclosed and safe), equipment,
and a fascinating Q&A session after the beekeeper talks about how the hive works, the three different kinds of honey bees who inhabit the hive, and why we need to care about
these pollinators. This will be an especially interesting program for families and those who might be interested in becoming beekeepers too.
