This is to Turncoat. I am with you brother or sister. Also, A Concerned Senior Citizen, Get Over Dem’s, Martha, Grandma and all the others, I’m so glad to stand with you all. So many are blinded and believe the lies. It is refreshing to see that some truly see the big picture of what’s happening today. God bless our nation and open eyes. Lady Di

This is in response to a senior citizen’s comment on a certain few negative people who call in all the time. I believe that those people who are so negative could be constipated. Constipation makes a person unhappy, they don’t feel well. What they need to do is eat four or five stewed prunes every morning and they will feel great. They will have love in their hearts. They will be happy and they will love our current administration and all people. Problem solved. Be Happy

This is for the person who called in that their noodles are sticking together. I always cook mine, a whole pound bag or box, with about 2 tablespoons of olive oil or extra virgin olive oil, but I guess any oil would work, in your pot of boiling water. Then when you drain it off mix it around good and usually they get a little coat of oil on them which keeps them from sticking together. Works for me.

This is to Eight Years Baby. The statement that you made about President Obama’s mother-inlaw collecting a six figure amount the rest of her life is ludicrous. There’s no way in creation that she gets a six-figure retirement. You must been talking to the fairy godmother.

Donald Trump made the comment “Andrew Jackson was really angry that he saw what was happening with regard to the civil war.” The problem Trump has here is Andrew Jackson died 16 years before the civil war. Shouldn’t our president know our history? He also said he would be honored to meet with the worst leader in the world from North Korea who has murdered thousands of his own people. Many Republicans are appalled. DP

We Americans have busted our humps all these years protecting this country, working this country and being legal. These immigrants don’t like the rules then let them go home where they belong and be legal or illegal in their own country and protest and not go to work. Who are they to come here illegally, stay illegally, get jobs and think they have the right to protest? We don’t want it. They need to become legal first then get a job or go back home.

My comment goes out to “get over it Democrats.” President Obama fired Mr. Flynn and Trump hired him simply because he had ties to Russia. Birds of a feather flock together. Trump has ties to Russia and the effects will soon come to light. Nice try. Get over that. Facts Matter

The Phoenixville residents that were demonstrating for the illegals, why don’t you adopt a couple and bring them in your house and then you pay for everything so that the people who don’t want them here illegally don’t have to take care of them?

Donald Trump’s fragile ego would have been crushed had he gone to the correspondents’ dinner where you laugh at yourself a little bit. He hightailed it out of Washington to a worthless rally in Harrisburg where he was surrounded by his cheerleaders. He has to be constantly praised like a little boy playing T-ball. Good job Donnie and when you put on your baseball glove it makes your hands look bigger.

Once again the treat was ours as the Boyertown Area High School presented a beautiful choral and the alumni band presented another of their wonderful concerts. We encourage you to visit with the programs at all of the schools to show support and to benefit from the talents of our next generation. Jim Tribbett

When will the news media and the malcontents who constantly disrupt everyone else’s life ever learn what an immigrant is? My grandparents were immigrants who followed the law, waited their turn, learned English, became citizens and never took any government financial support. Illegal aliens who broke the law are not immigrants and to call them such is an insult to real immigrants.

I enjoyed reading the article on Bobby Shantz and the ’72 championship team. Made me wonder is there any or many people left from the Hall of Fame teams in the early 50s? Do you know anything about them?

Want to know how Pottstown is doing? I just passed the Pottstown Visitors Center on North Hanover Street. There’s a “For Rent” sign in the window. That gives you some indication about how Pottstown is doing.
