Loretta J. Kaas, 78, of Limerick

Loretta J. Kaas, 78, wife of the late LeRoy J. Kaas, of Limerick, PA, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. Born on January 24, 1939 in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Doris (Miller) Koenig. She attended the Pottstown High School. Most recently, Mrs. Kaas worked as a Student Aid for Custer’s Bus Company before retiring in 2014. She was an active member of the Royersford Baptist Church. She enjoyed needle work, crocheting and made lovely gifts for friends, family and various local charities.

Mrs. Kaas is survived by two children, Mitchell D., husband of Lorie Kaas of Basye, VA; Sharyn L., wife of Jack Barbish of Royersford, PA; three granddaughters, Heather L. Kaas, wife of David Del Sesto, of Hingham, MA, Brigitte L., wife of Joseph Diaz, of Limerick, PA, Bethany L. Barbish, of Mont Clare, PA; one greatgranddaughter, five great grandsons, sister, Doris Kandler of Pottstown, PA; Mrs. Kaas was predeceased her twin sister, Lorraine Lichtley, and brother, Martin J. Koenig Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 10 am. Officiating will be Rev. Karen A. Selig. Burial will be held in the Parker Ford Baptist Church Cemetery, Parker Ford, PA. Friends will be received from 6:00 pm 7:30 pm Sunday or from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Project Outreach, 410 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468.
