Allan L. Stoeckle, 77, of Limerick

Allan L. Stoeckle, 77, beloved husband of Janet L. (Cunningham) Stoeckle, Laver Rd., Limerick Twp., died Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice, Allentown.

Mr. Stoeckle was born on July 17, 1939, in Millburn, NJ, to the late Douglas and Adelaide (Silance) Stoeckle. He was a graduate of Rutgers University and served in the US Army from 1958 to 1960.

He retired as a procurement manager for Unisys, Blue Bell, where he worked 30 years. During his retirement he worked for Hoffman’s Nursery, Limerick Twp., for 16 years.

Mr. Stoeckle was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Stoeckle is survived by his son, Gregory, and his wife, Ildiko (Zudor) Stoeckle, West Orange NJ; and his sister, Ellen C. Butler, Hackettstown, NJ.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, Friday, June 23rd, at St. James Lutheran Church, Swamp Pike at Kugler Rd., Limerick Twp., with Bobbie Hoffman, Director of Discipling, officiating.
