Eleanore (Spack) Labik, 91, wife of the late Michael “Mickey” Labik, of Phoenixvil­le, PA, died on Thursday, August 24, 2017.

Born on May 20, 1926 in Phoenixvil­le, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Balog) Spack.

A lifelong resident of Phoenixvil­le, she attended local schools and graduated from Phoenixvil­le High School in 1943, where she was a cheerleade­r and a member of the glee club. She was on the reunion committee, and served as treasurer.

She worked part time for a law firm, and helped her daughter in her flower shop. She was a writer and an avid story teller.

A member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Phoenixvil­le, she volunteere­d for church affairs, belonged to the Rosary Society, Legion of Mary, and the Sacred Heart Ladies Guild doing publicity. She was a member of AARP, The Pilot Club of Valley Forge, the Historical Society and Phoenixvil­le Senior Center, where she loved to play bridge and had a social card club for over 50 years consisting of 8 classmates meeting weekly.

Mostly she loved Phoenixvil­le and her family and friends.

Surviving are, daughter, Kathleen wife of Alfred L. Tarlecki Jr., son, John D. husband of Susan (Eichler) Labik, son, Michael Labik Jr., 4 grandchild­ren, Christine wife of Stephen Trimble, Alfred, III husband of Melissa Tarlecki, Joshua Labik, Makayla Labik, great-grandson, Hudson Leon Tarlecki, and many nieces and nephews, as well as relatives in the Phoenixvil­le and Philadelph­ia areas.

Preceding her in passing was her sister, Dorothy (Spack) Drevyanko, and two brothers, John “Sonny” Spack Jr. and Robert Spack.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 148 Church Street, Phoenixvil­le, PA, on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 10:30 am.

Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Phoenixvil­le, PA.

A viewing will be held in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixvil­le, PA, on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on Tuesday morning in church from 9:30 am to 10:15 am.
