Joseph P. Mack, age 76, husband of Sandra L. (Taft) Mack and the late Barbara J. (Detwiler) Mack, of Royersford, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born on February 28, 1941 in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late Rev. Jesse M. and Sarah A. (Detweiler) Mack.

Mr. Mack was a member of Green Tree Church of the Brethren and the Parker Ford Church. He worked as a tire builder for B.F. Goodrich for 20 years, and was a local dump truck driver for 23 years. He enjoyed bowling in several leagues, latch hooking, and singing with his brothers and in the church choir. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfathe­r, and brother, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Mack is survived by two sons, Mark J. Mack of St. Augustine, FL and Stephen J. Mack Sr., and his fiance Leslie Dill of Douglassvi­lle, PA; three siblings, Esther, wife of Arthur King of Pottstown, PA, Eunice, wife of Paul Hollinger of Stevens, PA and John H. Mack, husband of Edith of Zieglervil­le, PA; one grandson, Stephen J. Mack, Jr.; and two step-children, Rodney C. Boettger of Greensboro, NC and Natalie J. Boettger of Birdsboro, PA. Mr. Mack was preceded in death by six siblings, Daniel, Jesse, Norman, Abram, Naomi, and Mary.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral ceremony at the Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Road, Oaks, PA on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiatin­g will be Rev. J. Rodney O’Donnell. Burial will be held in the Green Tree Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9:30 am - 10:45 am Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made in his name to the Green Tree Church of the Brethren at the address above.
