This is in regards to the red lights on High Street in Pottstown. When you come up High Street east or west and you get a red light, you stop, you do not make a left hand turn until the light is turning green. Three times now in two weeks vehicles have pulled up to a red light, hesitate and then make a left-hand turn when people are crossing in front of them. Something needs to be done. People are in a hurry to go nowhere.

To the caller who questioned my comment about being offended by the racial overtones associated with traffic light colors — red, yellow and green — I think my idea’s supported by the LCDs (liberal crying Democrats) because they want all statues taken down, are offended by anything remotely deemed racist and would be able to somehow blame it on Trump. Here is a golden opportunity for the LCDs. Absolutely hilarious.

I live here in Pottstown and I see the mailman is delivering mail after 6 p.m. You don’t have to do that really. For your safety please don’t do it. I don’t need the mail that badly. I can wait till the next day.

I really feel good today for what I had I gave away. My time it didn’t cost a thing yet it helped a friend and now I can sing. I’ll make up my work for I now feel refreshed. What is given away really makes us feel blessed. Mom Mom

Donald Trump has sent a clear message to those in law enforcement that he has the backs of those who crossed the line when it comes to people of color. For political reasons, he has pardoned a convicted sheriff who ignored a judge’s order to stop profiling legal and illegal people. The rules just don’t apply to this dictator. Joe Arpaio not only arrested legal immigrants he arrested Hispanic Americans. That’s a serious crime that should not be pardoned. KM

I wish on the bottom of your television screen it would show you the day, date and time. For those of us that can’t leave the house because of our health you can imagine how you can lose track of time and you don’t know what day it is. I wish they would do something on TV about that.

The difference between Robert E. Lee and Thomas Jefferson concerning slavery in a nutshell is Jefferson was willing to set his slaves free. Lee on the other hand went to war over it and actually formed the Confederate States of America, 11 Southern states that seceded from the union. That is the reason people like the Jefferson statue and want to rid us of Lee’s. After all who was going to pick Lee’s cotton 16 hours a day for room and board? Clark S. Kent

I’m wondering if anyone knows what happened to Jenna on Fox News Channel 40? She was on at 11 a.m. everyday with Jon. Does anyone know what happened to her? She hasn’t been on for awhile.

I would like to thank the Lower Pottsgrove police and whoever else was involved with the project near the quarry in Sanatoga that cut down the trees so you can see what’s coming down the hill now. Before it was a hazard, you couldn’t see who was coming down the hill when you were going to go cross the bridge. I thank you all and there’s a lot of other people who are very happy to go to that stop sign and be able to see if someone’s coming down the hill before they cross. Great Job

I think the taxpayers should contact the Department of Education to send people unannounced to check on our school administrators. I want them to see where our money is wasted. We have a clown in ours and the board shows no sign to check it out.

Conservatives, are you OK with using socialism to clean up after Hurricane Harvey or shall we let the free market take care of things?

This isn’t about the lowest paid teachers in Pottstown. Live with it. The teachers in other districts are just making too much.

This proves my point. We do not have free speech. Berkeley, California, home of the free speech movement, stages protests where those in support of Trump were bullied, threatened and forced to leave. Why are those who have a difference of opinion or viewpoint than the left being silenced? Their First Amendment right is being taken away.
