Gloria ‘Dolly’ McFarland, 87, of Pottstown

Gloria “Dolly” (Mosteller) McFarland, 87, wife of the late William McFarland, of Pottstown, formerly Spring City and Bethany Beach, DE, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Manatawny Manor. Born on November 29, 1929 in Chester Springs, she was the daughter of the late Ethel (Walton) and Earl Mosteller.

Mrs. McFarland was employed as a Quality Control Inspector at ICI in Valley Forge for 30 years. She and Bill retired to Bethany Beach, DE and loved to go out fishing, clamming and crabbing on their boat. Dolly and Bill were always joined at the hip and enjoyed biking on the boardwalk, traveling and time spent together.

Dolly is survived by her daughter: Debbie, wife of Richard Wells, of Pottstown; two stepsons: William, husband of Donna McFarland, of SC and Robert, husband of Kathy McFarland, of Douglassville; granddaughter: Lisa English, of Pottstown; and great-granddaughter: Chloe Grebe, of Pottstown. She was preceded in death by her brother: Earl Mosteller.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Gil Vining. Interment will be held privately in the Grove Methodist Cemetery, West Chester. Friends will be received from 10:30 am - 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home.
