Karen Anne Korndoerfer, 72, of Collegeville
Karen Anne Korndoerfer, 72, of Collegeville, and formerly of Doylestown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, surrounded by family.
Karen was born on Oct. 12, 1944, in Scranton, Pa. to the late Miles Nealon Sr., and Alice (Fitch) Nealon.
Karen was the owner and operator of West Ridge Abstract in Limerick. Karen was an accomplished professional and others frequently sought her advice. A dauntless individual who cherished her family and friends, she was passionate about travel and experiencing the world to the fullest while encouraging others to do the same. Her family remembers her as the hardworking, generous matriarch who motivated them to pursue their goals.
She is survived by two children: daughter, Kristen Anne Connor and son, Lawrence Korndoerfer and wife, Lisa; four grandchildren: Kieren Elizabeth Connor, Avery Frances Connor, Lillian Elizabeth Korndoerfer and Miles Carter Korndoerfer; and two beloved nieces: Katie Nealon Kishbaugh and Kimberly Nealon Lee.
She was also predeceased by her brother, Miles Anthony Nealon.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Inc., Main St. at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA 19460 from 3-5 p.m. A celebration of her life will follow at 5 p.m.. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties Inc., 533 Foundry Road, Norristown, PA 19403.
