Mary L. Rothermel, 87, of Boyertown

Mary L. Rothermel, 87, of Boyertown, widow of the late John E. Rothermel, passed away in her daughter’s residence on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017.

Born in Boyertown, she was a daughter of the late E. Mabel (Richard) and William Schaeffer.

Mary was employed as a sewing machine operation for Hosan’s Pants Factory for 13 years and for Bally Pants for 17 years.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s (Hill) Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mary was also a member of the Senior Center of Boyertown.

She is survived by her daughters, Louise A., wife of David W. Hoch, of Boyertown, Loretta J. Schwartz, of Reading and Lori L., wife of Barry J. Witman, of Barto. Mary is also survived by six grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her granddaughter, Tami J. Kucharshi.

Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph’s (Hill) Evangelical Lutheran Church, 244 Kock Road, Boyertown, PA 19512 on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. Friends and family may call at church on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary’s name to St. Joseph’s (Hill) Evangelical Lutheran Church.
