I would like to get the attention of Amazon.com. We heard that they’re looking for some place to build a new facility. East Greenville would be ideal. Do you know how many people need jobs in our area of East Greenville, Pennsburg, Red Hill? There so much land for sale on Route 29 just off of Route 100 right by the Hereford Elementary School. It would be a perfect place for Amazon to build so I hope they read Sound Off and consider building in East Greenville.

All of you complaining that the bicyclists aren’t using the Industrial Highway bike lane aren’t very observant. Next time you drive by look closely. There are “No Trespassing” signs since the bike lane is all dug up. It still needs to be repaved before it can officially be used.

There were 700,000 fewer international tourists who came to the USA the first three months of the year. Wonder why that is? Wouldn’t have anything to do with Donald Trump would it?

Several times a month I get mail from a certain insurance company and it comes from several different people in Birdsboro, Pottstown, Royersford. I don’t understand why they send all this mail out advertising their insurance. If I want their insurance I will go to them. I know they are out there. Why waste all of their money on sending all this kind of stuff out? I don’t want it, it’s annoying and stop it.

It’s been said now that President Trump gave over $1 million for the flood relief and everybody seems to be criticizing him but when Joe Biden was vice president and released his tax forms they said he gave a little bit over $200 for the year for charities. Isn’t that showing you what the Democrats are all about?

This is to all you who are wondering whether Russia had anything to do with the election. If they did I want to thank him because they finally did something to help us. They kept that lying so and so out of office. Maybe we ought to call them and ask if they’ll help us find those 30,000 missing messages that somebody conveniently lost. JB from Gilbertsville

Could someone please explain to me why the price of gas shoots up to 30 cents a gallon due to the hurricane but once they are back to full capacity it takes two to three weeks before the price comes back down? I’d like to know the answer to this question before I die because it happens all the time.

Well here we go again, the NFL had a game on TV Sunday night and they showed a player sitting on the bench for the national anthem. I say it’s time the NFL commissioners wise up and fine any player $50,000 for refusing to honor our anthem. If it weren’t for this wonderful country we live in that player wouldn’t even be here. I would like to know if these people who are overdosing on heroin when they are crashing their cars or being stopped and getting a DUI are they having to pay fines as a person would if they were DUI under the influence of alcohol? Perhaps if they were it would pay for the drugs that are being used on them to be kept alive.

To the guy in the white pick up truck who stole my firewood that was on the shoulder of the road on Specht Road on Tuesday night after the storm, I would like you to return the wood. If it’s not in my driveway I have your license plate and will call the police.

This is for all the people driving around Pottstown, you know who you are, speeding, blasting your rap music, smoking your cigarettes, and talking on your cell phone all why your little babies are in the car with you. And for all the people walking around Pottstown with your pants down to your knees, there’s an invention — it’s called the belt. Why don’t you try getting one? It’s sickening. James from Pottstown

I see in The Mercury, Pottstown wants to raise taxes, they say 23 percent but it will probably be less than that. But it just goes to show that this borough manager and his team have no idea what they’re doing here in Pottstown with all this constant spending. It finally came to a head now.

Just wanted to give a shout-out to America’s Best on Shoemaker Road. I got two pairs of bifocals and an eye exam for $99.99 and they were very cordial and very, very nice. Anyone needing glasses, I suggest you go there.

I realize my body isn’t what it used to be but when I took my shirt off last night my bride put on her eclipse glasses.
