Marian V. McKeone, 80, of Pottstown

Marian V. McKeone, 80, of Pottstown, PA and formerly of Prospect Park, Delaware Co., died Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Prospect Park, PA, she was a daughter of the late Peter Bernard McKeone and the late Mildred Elmyra (Zigman) McKeone.

Marian was a graduate of Prospect Park High School. She graduated from West Chester State College with a degree in education. She was employed as an elementary school teacher with the West Chester School District for over 20 years. Marian had attended First Church of the Brethren while living in Pottstown. She was a member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees, and was active at Berean Bible Church with the Way of Life program and was a vacation bible school teacher.

Surviving are two sons, Scott A. Hoffman and his wife Cindy Hoffman; Pottstown; Steven E. Hoffman and his wife Donna M. Hoffman, Spring City; one sister, Anna Harris, Tamarac, FL; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son Stuart D. Hoffman and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday October 3, 2017 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Scott Major. Burial will be held at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill at 1:00 pm. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
