Mary L. (Houck) Korkie, 67

Mary L. (Houck) Korkie, 67, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Season’s Hospice in Phoenixville, PA. She was the wife of the late Andrew Korkie.

She was born May 21, 1950 in Pottstown, PA. She was a daughter of the late John W. Houck and Doris (Kranch) Houck.

Mary loved the Beatles, animals, and her friends and family.

Mary is survived by three children, Jeffrey Korkie, husband of Carrie, Dover, PA; Janna Foglia, wife of Michael, Pottstown, PA; and James Korkie, husband of Colleen, Downingtown, PA; nine grandchildren, Shawn, Catie, Emily, Titus, Joshua, Noah, Caleb, Katarina, and Nathan; one sister, Carol Houck-Morgan, Boyertown, PA; one brother, John “Dan” Houck, husband of Sharon, Lancaster, PA; nieces and nephews, and her two best friends of fifty-five years, Lauren and Gail.

She is predeceased by one sister, Janice Houck-Griest.

A viewing will take place on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 9:30 – 11:00 am at Trinity Church of Boyertown, 250 Sweinhart Rd., Boyertown, PA 19512. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am. Interment will take place after the service at Limerick Garden of Memories. Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464 will be handling the arrangements.
