With the many charities that I support they must be giving my address to everybody because I’m receiving postage-paid envelopes from all kinds of outfits to send them money. Apparently the post office must be making a lot of money on these stamped envelopes that they’re sending everybody.

Seniors, look out for credit card companies questioning you about terrorist money laundering. I said to them after paying Pottstown taxes I have no more money left to launder. Bruce Madara

Thank you Chris Friend for your Friday commentary. Finally someone defending Trump’s right about firing of the NFL players. Someone finally putting into perspective that mess that’s going on.

I totally agree with Lady Di. We really do need prayer, all of us, each and every one, red, black, brown, white and yellow too. That’s a little song the Lord gave me. He loves every one of us and he wants us to be lifting our voices in prayer for America and all our beautiful families. We may be different races but we are Americans. We’re free and we love our country. Keep praying. God bless you all. Mom Mom

Please remember that the NFL is paid for any patriotic activity at the games. It is not about patriotism. It is about money.

Does anyone know what happened to Jenna Lee on Fox News with Jon Scott? It’s on at 11 every morning. She hasn’t been on for a long time.

A correction to the coach’s name in reference to the comment complimenting the PJP girls soccer team and their coach, the coach’s name is Stew Sherk.

Until Benghazi, Hillary Clinton claimed the ouster of Muammar Gaddafi as her greatest State Department achievement. After Benghazi, it became a less progressive regime in Myanmar, aka Burma, which is presently complicit in genocide. In foreign policy her resume begins in shakedowns for the Clinton Foundation. I see where Asplundh Tree Service got whacked pretty good with a nice fine. That’s what needs to happen to all these places that hire these illegals. They don’t belong here. These places need to be whacked real nice with a fine. Fact

I believe that the people who live in the East End of Pottstown owe a big thank you to Wyndcroft for allowing them, the residents, to take their dogs and do their job on Wyndcroft’s lawn and then drop those droppings in their dumpsters. On the weekends people actually pull up pick up trucks and cars to empty their trash in the dumpsters. I’m sure the people in that area appreciate Wyndcroft’s generosity.

To D. Matta, you talk about the players the way they act. What about your president the way he acts and talks? The stuff he says you can’t even put in the paper it’s so derogatory especially about women and handicapped people. Think before you talk about it. If the National Football League doesn’t like something the players get a penalty for it. What’s the president get? Nothing. He keeps going on and on and on. What a bum.

Donald Trump is doing a terrible job in Puerto Rico. It’s been a week and he finally sent in the military to get the roads open. He quoted that the governor of Puerto Rico said “great job.” That’s not true. The governor never said that. The governor keeps asking for more help and where is it? Remember these people are U.S. citizens.

To the person who is looking for Pat’s or Geno’s to move to Spring City, not necessary. You should try Tracy Wilke’s in Spring City for their cheesesteaks.

For the person who left a message for Pat’s, Geno’s and Tony Luke’s, I don’t think they read The Mercury so your best bet would be to give them a call directly or send a note in the mail.

I’m beginning to think that maybe we should have voted and elected Hillary. The Democrats are trying their best to tear this country down and tear it apart. She could’ve done it right away instead of waiting a year or two.

Kudos to Chris Freind for your column on the NFL in Friday’s Mercury. Your comments were spot on.

We don’t need Pat’s, Geno’s or Tony Luke’s cheesesteaks. We have Rocco’s and you can’t imagine how much steak you get in it. I know you live in Spring City. They may deliver there I don’t know, give them a call. But as I said Rocco’s makes the best cheesesteaks in the area.

Had it with the pro football players. Just going to stick with the college guys. They want to disgrace our flag, I don’t need them.

If our flag is not good enough to salute then you should not be able to earn big money playing under it.
