National franchise focuses on offering high end finishing salon hair treatments at affordable prices.

For those looking for a quick and convenient hair up-do, Cherry Blow Dry Bar is getting ready to open for business in Glen Mills. With the anticipated opening date in mid-November, the national franchise focuses on offering high end finishing salon hair treatments at an affordable price.

Owners Tracey and Harold Tamburro are already well versed in running franchise businesses. The couple own 12 Lawn Doctor franchises throughout New Jersey. Tracey first became interested in opening a Cherry Blow Dry Bar after her first visit to one in New Jersey.

“I went to the original one in Cherry Hill for a blow-out and I thought it was so great. The brand itself is affordable for customers. It was a no brainer for me,” Tamburro said.

“I wanted to expand into the beauty industry. It’s an amazing industry and it’s always changing. I’ve always been passionate about beauty. I love trends with make-up and hair and am always the first one to do it,” Tamburro added.

The salon features a wide array of different finishing services for hair including the signature wash and blow-out, hair extensions, keratin treatments, up-do’s, curling iron and flat iron styling and make-up services.

“All the finishing services for your hair. Anything you need to

do before you go out for a girls’ night, a bridal shower, a bachelorette party, a wedding. Even just to go out for a date with your husband. It’s the perfect spot to go and get glammed up,” said Tamburro.

Tamburro noted that she will be an active owner-operator and noted that men are also welcome to the salon to partake in its many services.

“We would never turn a man down. If they wanted to come in and get a conditioning treatment or a hair mask and a scalp massage just to relax, we would absolutely do that for a man,” she said.

With one Cherry Blow Dry Bar already open in Paoli, the Tamburros chose the Glen Mills area for their salon, which will be the second one to open in Pennsylvania. They decided on the Glen Mills community because they enjoy what the area already has to offer.

“We just love that area. We shop there, we go to the movies there. It’s our go-to place. I feel like the Cherry Blow Dry Bar fits right in with that community. It’s a growing area too. Glen Mills is well established, but still up and coming. Everything that is trending, is there,” said Tamburro.

The Tamburros plan to open two more Cherry Blow Dry Bars in New Jersey within the next 12 months. The franchise first began in 2013 and is continuing to rapidly expand across the country. Currently there are 11 salons open in seven states, with 20 salons in various stages of development.
