Miriam Y. (Youse) Seasholtz, 90, of Boyertown

Miriam Y. (Youse) Seasholtz, 90, of Boyertown, widow of John L. Seasholtz, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born in New Berlinville, she was the daughter of the late, Mamie (Geisler) and Charles Youse.

Miriam was a 1944 graduate of Boyertown High School. She worked for Bank of Pennsylvania as a teller for 20 years, prior to that she worked for Colebrookdale School as a secretary and playground aide.

She was a member of Good Shepherd UCC in Boyertown. Miriam was also a member of Friendship Hook and Ladder Fire Company ladies’ auxiliary and a member of the bowling league at Keystone Fire House.

Surviving are one son James E. Seasholtz, husband of Linda of Gilbertsville and one daughter Joan L., wife of Gary Herb of Boyertown; two grandsons, Nathaniel and Logan; one granddaughter, Jenna and one greatgrandson Levi.

She was predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11AM at Morrell Funeral Home Inc., 124 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA. A viewing will be held from 10-11AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Good Shepherd Living Memorial Endowment Fund (LMEF), 35 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA 19512.
