Route 422 clo­sure post­poned un­til tonight

POTTSTOWN » Pen­nDOT an­nounced that the Route 422 clo­sure sched­uled for Wednesday night has been post­poned.

Due to the weather, the sched­uled clo­sure of east­bound Route 422 in the Pottstown area has been post­poned un­til Thursday, Oct. 12. From 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, to 5 a.m. Fri­day, Oct. 13, Route 422 East will be closed and de­toured from the split with Ben­jamin Franklin High­way in Dou­glass Town­ship, Berks County, to Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) in North Coven­try Town­ship, Ch­ester County.

East­bound Route 422 mo­torists will be di­rected to con­tinue to Ben­jamin Franklin High­way/High Street and turn right on Route 100 South (Pottstown Pike) to ac­cess the ramp to east­bound Route 422.
