Linda C. (Frye) Scott, 89, of Gilbertsville

Linda C. (Frye) Scott, 89, of New Hanover Square Rd., Gilbertsville, widow of Malcolm R. Scott, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, East Norriton.

Born in Duncannon, PA, she was a daughter of the late Cloyd Frye and the late Belinda (Staley) Frye.

Linda was a mother & homemaker.

She was a member of Falkner Swamp United Church of Christ, Gilbertsville.

Linda was a charter member of the ladies auxiliary at New Hanover Fire Co., Gilbertsville, she also loved traveling & camping with her late husband.

She is survived by two sons, C. James G. Scott husband of Barbara J., Gilbertsville, Malcolm R. Scott, II husband of Debbie, Becthelsville; a daughter, Cynthia S. wife of Joseph Weber, Spring Mount, PA; four grandchildren, Matt Lucas, Kevin & Aaron Scott, Robbie Sell; numerous great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was predeceased in death by three brothers, James, Charles, Richard Frye.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 P.M. on Monday at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Dietz. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories. There will be a viewing Monday from 10:00 to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
