Calvary UCC
Barto: An All-U-Can-Eat Pork and Sauerkraut Dinner will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Calvary United Church of Christ, 1231 Route 100. Menu includes pork and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, roll and butter and ice cream. Cost is a free will donation to the church’s Relay For Life Team, the Calvary United Cancer Crusaders. After the 10:15 a.m. worship on Sunday those that wish to participate in the women’s led choir which will sing on October 22 during Women’s Sunday, please stay for a quick rehearsal. A Free Concert with Keith Brintzenhoff and the Toad Creek Ramblers will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday. A fun-filled night of music (old timey, folk, bluegrass, country, gospel and hoedown), and Pennsylvania Dutch folklore. As a special treat, there will also be a hoedown included in this performance. All are welcome to attend this Alton Acker Memorial Concert Series.
New Goshenhoppen UCC
East Greenville: An organ recital with Dr. Gordon Turk, organist, will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, 1070 Church Road. Free will offering and reception follows program.

Boyertown: A Spaghetti Dinner will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 35 W. Philadelphia Ave. Proceeds benefit Relay for Life of Boyertown.
First Presbyterian
Pottstown: The Cherub Choir will be singing at the 10:30 a.m. worship on Sunday at First Presbyterian Church. After worship, the Jr. Seekers will head to the Perkiomen Trail for a picnic lunch and hike.
St. Luke’s Lutheran
Obelisk: The Praise Service will be held at 10;15 a.m. on Sunday in the Fellowship Hall at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Route 73 and Neiffer Road, led by the praise band, Messenger. A free Community Dinner will be offered from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. A wellness seminar will be offered following the meal at 6:30 p.m.
Limerick: The Women of St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Road, will meet at 1 p.m. on Monday. SOUL for Women will meet on Thursday for a night of Yoga and fellowship.
Mount Carmel UMC St. Peters: Refreshments will be served after the 10 a.m. service on Sunday at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, 2203 Harmonyville Road. Everyone is welcome. St. Luke Lutheran
Gilbertsville: Bingo Fun will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at St. Luke Knolls sponsored by the Social Ministry Committee of St. Luke Church. The Senior Breakfast Group will meet at 8 a.m. on Wednesday at Saville’s in Gilbertsville. The Community Clothing Rack will be open for distribution from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
Trinity UCC
Pottstown: Card players will meet at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Trinity United Church of Christ, Hanover and King streets. New players are always welcome. Thanks to all of the volunteers and friends who helped to make the craft show a huge success.
St. Peter’s Lutheran
Pottstown: Sunday will be the last day to purchase 25 percent off discount certificates for use on everything purchased on Tuesday, Oct. 17, during the Boscov’s Special Discount Sale Event. The $5 certificate fee will benefit St. Peter’s Church Capital Campaign Appeal. Seniors Luncheon will take place at 11:30 am on Wednesday at Gramia’s Restaurant, Boyertown.

Pottstown: The Thrift Shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Coventryville United Methodist Church, 1521 Old Ridge Road. A meatloaf dinner will be hosted from 4 to 6:30 p.m. tonight. Cost is $12 for adults, $8 for students and seniors, and kids 5 and under are free. Both dine in
and take out are available. The ladies group, The OWLS, will hold their monthly meeting and Bible Study at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. All ladies are welcome.
St. Paul’s UCC
Pottstown: A Pot Pie Dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 927 N. Franklin St. Cost is $10 for adults; $5 for ages 6 to 10; and kids under age 5 are free. Church members will serve the Community Meal on Thursday at First Presbyterian Church.
Shepherd of the Hills
Bechtelsville: The Missions Ministry will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday at Shepherd of the Hills Church, 527 Hoffmansville Road, to review missionary support. The Prime Timers will have a fellowship breakfast at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Pied Piper Diner in Bally. The Preschool will have a Hallelujah Harvest evening for their children on Friday.

North Coventry: Preparations are being made for the 4th Annual Artisan and Vendor Event in the Social Hall at Shenkel United Church of Christ, 1580 Shenkel Road, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21.
St. Eleanor RCC
Collegeville: Operation Help the Homeless is being hosted by St. Eleanor Roman Catholic Church, 647 Locust St. In response to the growing needs of the homeless population in Montgomery County, donations of travel-sized toiletries, coffee and sugar are being solicited from the community. Young people from the parish’s new Youth Ministry program will have volunteers to help check, sort, and box the donations on Oct. 21 and 22. Donations will be delivered to the Norristown Hospitality Center which provides basic needs and social services to over 1,000 individuals in Montgomery County.

Pottstown: A Spaghetti Supper sponsored by Boy Scouts Troop 99 will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Grace Lutheran Church, 660 N. Charlotte St. Menu includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread/butter, ice cream, juice, iced tea, coffee. Cost is $8 for adults and children 11 years and older, $5 for children 3 to 10 years, and children under 3-years-old are free. Takes outs are $8.50.

Pottstown: A Yard Sale and Bake Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Salem United Methodist Church, West and Evans St. Homemade pies, vegetable soup, AP cakes, cookies and lots more. Fish pond with prizes, lots of tables, kids clothing, crafts, dog crate, kid’s bike. Lunch is available with hotdogs, soup, chips, drinks.

Pottstown: The Social Committee of St. John’s United Church of Christ is hosting “CROPtoberfest” today beginning at 9 a.m. for scrapbooking enthusiasts. The Handicrafters group continues to meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday in preparation for the upcoming bazaar.
Brownback’s UCC
Spring City: The special Harvest Home Service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Sunday at Brownback’s United Church of Christ, 640 Ridge Road. All are welcome to remain after the service for Social Hour in Fellowship Hall.
Zion’s UCC
Pottstown: Rev. Susan Sosnin will be guest minister at Zion’s United Church of Christ, Hanover and Chestnut streets. A retired Lutheran minister she enjoys visiting different churches and experiencing a variety of worship venues. Richard Smoker will serve as guest organist. For this fall’s Ingathering Sunday, Consistory has decided to use this special offering to purchase two defibrillators, one for the church and one for the Chapel Building. Sign up for the church’s Halloween event at the Manatawny Green Mini Golf Course. Lunch will be at noon. Children/youth are free and adults are $10.
