Harold H. Renninger, 92, of Sassamansville

Harold H. Renninger, 92, of Sassamansville, died on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, at Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health. He was the husband of Esther V. (Mensch) Renninger whom he was married to for 74 years.

Born in Sassamansville, he was the son of the late Mary (Hoffman) Renninger and the late Mahlon Renninger.

Harold was a self-employed plumber for many years as well as a sheet metal shop. He was a graduate of Boyertown High School. Harold was a medic in the army during World War II.

Mr. Renninger was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, of Sassamansville.

In addition to his wife Esther of 74 years, Mr. Renninger is survived by a son, Keith H., husband of Connie, Boyertown; 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Harold is predeceased by a son, Kenneth, and a daughter, Kathleen; two brothers, Lloyd and Russell Renninger and a sister, Maude.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1809 Hoffmansville Road, Sassamansville with a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the church memorial fund at the address above.
