Boyertown: Boyertown Halloween Parade will be held on Saturday, Oct. 21, beginning at 7 p.m. Rain date is Sunday, Oct. 22. Formation will begin at the Boyertown Elementary School, Boyertown Junior High School West and Federal-Mogul parking lots. The parade route will begin at Second and Madison streets, north to Philadelphia Avenue, west on Philadelphia Avenue to south on Reading Avenue to South Warick Street, left onto East Second, left on South Washington, right on East Third Street, South onto Monroe.

Phoenixville: A free Halloween Carnival will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Phoenixville Civic Center, 123 Main St. Games, silent auction, entertainment and snacks for children under 12-years-old. It is sponsored
by the Phoenixville Kiwanis Club and the Phoenixville Recreation Department.

Bring the whole family to the
All Hallow’s Eve Fall Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, at Pennypacker Mills, 5 Haldeman Road, for some old-fashioned fun. Suggested donation is $2 per person. Highlights of activities for kids include being able to select their own pumpkin and paint it, make four fall-themed crafts to take home, and everyone can shuck dried corn just like farmers did to feed their animals, shred apples and then press them to make apple cider, make colorful “tombstone” rubbings, and taking a tractor-pulled hayride through the meadow. Children can jump in the hay pile and also toss bean bags at targets. Refreshments will be available. Royersford: The 5th annual Julia’s Palooza to benefit Julia’s Grace Foundation will be held on Nov. 4 at the Friendship Firehouse, 269 Green St. This two-part event consists of a Family Fun Fair from noon to 4 p.m. with a $5 admission fee and a Beef and Beer from 7 p.m. to midnight with a $30 admission fee. Both events include music, food and Julia’s favorite, waffles and ice cream. The evening event also features a basket drawing and wine pull. Tickets for both events can be purchased in advance at www.juliasgracefoundation. org or at the door while supplies last.
