Robert E. Yiaski, 77, of Kimberton
Robert E. Yiaski, age 77, husband of the late Barbara (Schutte) Yiaski, of Kimberton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at his home.
Born on Aug. 15, 1940 in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Michael and Emma (Hiskin) Yiaski. He was a graduate of Phoenixville High School, Class of 1958. A veteran, he served in the Army National Guard.
Bob worked in the maintenance department for Phoenix Steel Co. for 34 years before retiring in 1992. In retirement, he also worked part time for SeaWind, Kimberton, PA.
An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a life member of Kimberton Fish and Game Association and honorary life member of Shady Nook Rod and Gun Club. He was also a member of Kimberton Fire Company, AMVETS, Millsboro, DE and the NRA. He also volunteered at the Kimberton Community Fair.
Mr. Yiaski is survived by two sons, Robert W., husband of MaryEllen (Wisneski)) Yiaski of Kimberton, PA and James E. Yiaski of West Chester, PA; a brother, John Yiaski of Point Pleasant, NJ; and several nieces. He was also predeceased by a brother, Michael Yiaski.
Visitations will be held at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 from 7-8:30 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Basil the Great R.C. Church, 2300 Kimberton Rd., Kimberton, PA. Officiating will be Rev. Gary T. Pacitti. Burial will be in Coventryville Cemetery.
