READING » Authorities have issued several more arrest warrants after a months-long investigation into a multi-million dollar drug trafficking operation across several counties.

The investigation resulted in multiple arrests and authorities confiscated large quantities of drugs, along with vehicles, weapons and $200,000 in cash in August. Police have now obtained arrest warrants for several additional individuals from Reading and Exeter.

Police have issued warrants for Stephanie Zahariadis, 30, of Ex-

eter Township, on charges of possession of heroin and criminal use of a communication device and Eliot Lopez, 40, of the 300 block Linden Street Reading, on charges of corrupt organizations, possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, criminal use of a communication device, and criminal conspiracy.

Authorities have also issued warrants for five other individuals who police say are currently incarcerated. Those individuals are Lewis Lembric, 26; Shan HaynesAli, 29; Xavier Soto-Perez, 29; Coralys Lopez, 29; and Eddie Ferrer, 42.

The investigation was coined “Operation Last Hurrah” because the suspects were trafficking a large volume of illegal drugs throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which has the potential to carry severe penalties for their illegal activities, according to Berks County District Attorney John T. Adams.

The operation was a concerted effort between the Pennsylvania State Police, Berks County District Attorney’s Detectives Office and City of Reading Police Department to decrease the illegal drug trade in Berks County.
