Thank you NFL and the TV stations for no longer showing the anthem presentation. Now the players have no platform. Let’s see if they do anything on their own time now instead of work time. I’m sure most won’t.

A caller wondered why the Clintons are not in jail. The answer is because they are above the law and this why rational people other than the LCDs (liberal crying Democrats) voted overwhelmingly for Trump. And for the LCDs saying Clinton won the popular vote, know that the large state of California home of all things liberal was the only reason she was even in the foray.

Isn’t it about time the people at the post office wake up and put our mailboxes back out so we can put our packages and our letters into it instead of having it on our porch in the mailbox where they can be stolen or sit there for two and three days before they’re picked up? I disagree with the delusional caller who seems to think that liberals indoctrinate their children to hate in public schools. Your comment in itself contradicts you when you send your child to a private school. You are under the assumption your child is better. This is a shout-out to the Pottsgrove Middle School marching band. You guys looked really professional in the parade on Tuesday night. It was really nice to see you all had the same school sweat shirts on, all dressed the same and in uniform. It was very nice to listen to you as well as to watch you.

For the person that called in about the cartoon in The Mercury who did not like the showing of Trump smothering Obamacare with a pillow in bed, I thought it was hilarious. Please get over it as the cartoons about President Obama over eight years were a lot worse.

To Philadelphia and NFL owners, please watch the baseball World Series. All the baseball players stand with their caps over their hearts and you also see and hear them sing “God Bless America.” It’s about time the owners wise up and not let the players make the rules. Since Trump claims that he knows more than all of our generals, let him lead the new rich draftees into battle and see how he likes the giant spiders over there.

The person who said they were just making a silly comment about the snow and the bike trail and ski slope and all that, it wasn’t really a silly comment. If you packed that snow down you can make that a cross country skiing trail.

Tea Party, socialists in the U.S. believe economic inequality is bad for society and the government is responsible for reducing its programs that benefit the poor — free public education, health care, Social Security and Medicare for the elderly and higher taxes on the rich. All you people are crazy anymore. You can’t look, speak or do and somebody has to find fault. Trump might not be the best president but neither are any of you any better. No wonder there is so much bullying in the world. I don’t even want to listen to the TV or radio. Everybody is just digging up things from the past for news. I believe the NFL should stop playing the national anthem and replace it with “God Bless America.” Then if you stand or if you kneel, you’re right.
