DAVIS - Mrs. Shirley Jean Davis (Yergey) of Pottstown, PA, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the age of 82. A celebration of Shirley’s life will take place on November 4, 2017 from 1 – 4 PM at her daughter Terri’s home, located at 2524 Swamp Pike Pottstown, PA. The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers. Donations can be made to an Alzheimer’s/Dementia charity of your choice.

DUNCAN - On Monday, October 16, 2017, Brian Duncan died in Portland, Oregon of complications from a severe spinal cord injury suffered in an automobile collision while riding his bicycle the prior year. He is survived by his wife and partner in all things, Hanne. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 3 at First Presbyterian Church, 750 N. Evans Street, Pottstown with Revs. W. Carter Lester and Karen Pidcock-Lester officiating. Though there will be no formal visitation prior to the service, a luncheon to further honor Brian’s memory will be held at the church immediately following the ceremony for friends and family. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Brian’s memory to Refit Portland (refit.networkforgood.com) or, to honor his love of cycling, by donating to bikesforkidsfoundation. org, a San Diego based organization that has graciously made arrangements to deliver new bikes and helmets to underserved elementary school students in Portland, Oregon in memory of Brian.

HAAS - Terry Lee Haas, 65, of Boyertown, husband of Karen J. (Moser) Haas, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at his residence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11AM at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 45 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown, PA. HERR - Helen Mae (Stierly) Herr, of Limerick, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Age 93.
