Police: Woman died of selfinflicted injuries
BIRDSBORO » A woman found dead in Birdsboro Wednesday died of apparent self-inflicted wounds, police say.
State Police have been investigating the death of Michelle Amos, 49, of Robeson Township, after her body was discovered late Wednesday morning.
An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday afternoon and police say the investigation and results of the autopsy “show that the victim died of apparent self inflicted injury.” Police did not specify what the injuries were.
WFMZ-TV 69 reports that Amos is a married mother of five children.

Police secured a large area near the business and a nearby day care center dismissed students early as the investigation continued with a large police presence in the area. At one point, a state police helicopter was over the area where the body was discovered.
The Berks County Coroner was called to the scene shortly after and the investigation was turned over to the Pennsylvania State Police Major Case Team.
