James A. Hoy, 62, of Pottstown

James A. Hoy, 62, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017, after a brief illness.

He was born in Norristown, PA on November 3, 1955.

Jimmy has been living in Pottstown, Pa for the last 3 years, formerly of Spring City and Collegeville, Pa.

He worked as a furniture restorer with Sheffield Furniture of Malvern, Pa

He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan especially Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers.

Jimmy enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.

He was a talented musician.

He was a son of Catherine P. (O’Connor) and the late Lawrence F. Hoy.

Survivors include his Son: James B. Hoy, Pottstown, PA; Mother: Catherine P. (O’Connor) Hoy, Audubon, PA; Brother: Lawrence M. Hoy, Audubon, PA; Sister: Diane Sauermelch, Pottstown, PA; Sister: Kathleen Kane, Phoenixville, PA; Brother: Donald Hoy, Collegeville, PA; Sister: Maryalice Stewart, Phoenixville, PA;

Sister: Audrey Hoy, Levittown, PA; Brother: Raymond Hoy, Conshohocken, PA, and many nieces and nephews.

His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 18, 2017 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 224 West Main Street, Trappe, Pa. 19426.

Friends may call on Saturday Morning from 9:00 AM to 10:30AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA.

Interment will be private.
