Well I see where Perkiomen Valley School does the same thing as your townships and other schools. They convince a board member not to resign till after the elections so the board members that remain can pick who they want, not who the voters want.

It’s a shame Tom Hylton didn’t retain his seat for the school board. He can be overzealous but he works hard to make Pottstown a better place. God knows we need it especially the school district spending the taxes. I only hope his activism will continue to curtail spending and hence taxes since we pay some of the highest in Pennsylvania. To the gentleman and his granddaughter at Target who paid for our coffee, thank you again; much appreciated.

This is to KM talking about President Trump and the morals going down in this country because of him. I guess you never heard of the Kennedy brothers or Bill Clinton. They were a bunch of sweethearts too really, the stuff they pulled and got away with.

Wow people making less than $30,000 a year will see tax deductions in 2027. That makes sense. And certain individuals will get tax deductions, that makes sense. Did anyone recognize that word “certain” individuals, not everyone like this government bragged? This government should stand up on TV and say they are nothing but frauds, liars, misleading, etc. to the American people and they never mean what they say is for everyone.

Hey KM I got a kick out of what you said about Trump making this country morally disgusting, distasteful. I guess you forgot about Bill Clinton or is it OK with you what he did? This guy actually raped women in office but I guess you being a true blue Democrat it’s OK. And now what about your Sen. Frankel, another Democrat? What happened there? A TV reporter said he groped her and kissed her but he’s sorry so everything will be fine. JT

I guess I just didn’t understand when Trump promised tax cuts for the middle class. Apparently the middle class makes at least a half a million dollars a year, they itemize deductions and they have large estate taxes. Poor me only thing I would get would be the near doubling of the standard deduction. Of course if you have a mortgage it doesn’t help you much. If you have state and local taxes that doesn’t help you much either. Promises promises never fulfilled. A Disappointed Voter

Uneducated white males are Trump’s base. This is a fact not a racist remark. Unfortunately some people don’t know the difference. I repeat uneducated white males.

I don’t know much about the Evangelical faith but I am confused as to how and why that faith turns a blind eye to Donald Trump and Roy Moore. I believe in forgiveness. My church teaches that but I would never accept conduct that has been displayed by Trump and Moore for political reasons. If this is the direction our country is headed, God bless America.

There are 195 countries in the world and we are the only ones now that do not belong to the Paris Climate Agreement. We were until Donald Trump decided all by himself that it was not a good agreement. Shame, shame, shame.

To the person constantly complaining about Trump playing golf, where were you and where were your two-bit complaints all eight years when Obama was playing pal? Where were you when he was ditching funerals for past first ladies to go to concerts? Didn’t hear your whining then. Flip the page, move on, get a real life.

So glad to see a construction crew tearing up Franklin Street outside the middle school. What a great idea it is to force our school children to walk through an active work zone. The students must maneuver around pylons, avoid falling into big pits and navigate around moving dump trucks and backhoes. That is certain to improve cognitive thinking skills. The colorful language used by the workers definitely builds on the educational factor. Mr. Jimmy, Franklin Street

The truth Lefty, you can’t handle the truth. If you are a Republican or a conservative, you are crucified for a supposed indiscretion but if you’re a Democrat, progressive, liberal, commit murder or treason you are given a senator’s seat for life and given an almost coronation to the presidency.
