Boyertown: The November meeting of Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club will be a “field trip” traveling to “It’s a Gift” in West Reading to learn about the Women’s Exchange and shop in the store. The group will move to Chef Alan’s for the business meeting and refreshmen­ts. In November, the club will provide Thanksgivi­ng dinner and all the trimmings for two families through Multi-Service. The ladies are working on decoration­s for the tree as the club participat­es in the Tree Festival at MultiServi­ce which is part of the Boyertown Holiday House Tour on Dec. 1. On Dec. 2 at the Chillin’ on Main holiday event in Boyertown, the club will have a holiday craft for children to make and take. The Dec. 11 meeting will be the Annual Christmas party at the Kutz home in Pottstown. Starting at

6:30 p.m., refreshmen­ts will include appetizers, desserts and drinks supplied by members.

Pottstown: An All-YouCan-Eat Breakfast, open to the public, will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26, at the Pottstown Elks Lodge #814, 61 High St. Included are made-to-order eggs, omelets, home fries, bacon, sausage, scrapple, French toast, pancakes, waffles, creamed dried beef, coffee, tea, milk, juice and desserts. Cost is Adults $8 and Children 12 and under are $4. Proceeds benefit Pennsylvan­ia children and adults with disabiliti­es.

Schwenksvi­lle: The 2017

Holiday House Tour sponsored by the Women’s Civic Club of Schwenksvi­lle will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9.

Three homes, Greenfield Senior Living and three private museums are featured on the tour. Begin the tour with a house built in 1777 by Andreas Reed. Three private museums on the 12 acres house antique carriages, wagons, race cars, trucks and other interestin­g memorabili­a. Greenfield Senior Living has been profession­ally decorated to enhance the holiday spirit. Built in 1894 the main structure was formerly the Schwenksvi­lle High School. The next stone farmhouse sits on 10 acres and was built in 1800. A traditiona­lstyle salt box house is the third home featuring family antiques and custom pieces.
