Ronald J. Domin, 80

-

Ronald J. Domin, 80, husband of Grace (Terwilliger) Domin, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Seasons Hospice. Born June 14, 1937 in Pottstown, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Murray) Domin.

Ron attended North Coventry High School and was employed with Keystone Drawn Steel in Spring City for 29 years as a steel worker. He had a reputation for his hard work ethic, athleticism, dedication to his community, loyal friend and most of all the love he had for his family. Some would consider him a local legend, knowing Ron as a former athlete, teammate, or coach. Ron dedicated a lot of his free time to coaching baseball, basketball and football for Norchester Optimist Club for 18 years. He also spent time coaching the Owen J. Roberts Middle School football team in recent years. Ron valued teamwork and thought anything could be accomplished by working together. He thought organized sports was a great metaphor for life. Ron dedicated his entire life to his family, attending every sporting game for each of his sons and grandchildren, enjoyed his vegetable garden and was an avid dog lover.

Surviving along with his wife are sons Ronald Domin, husband of Lori, of Exeter, Michael Domin of Lancaster, and Darin Domin of Pottstown; grandchildren Sarah Charlebois, wife of Ephraim, Tess, Matt, and Mitch Domin, Alex Faherty, wife of Ty, Leah, and Scott Domin; and four greatgrandchildren, Aubrianna, Ava, Eoghan and Annabelle.

A memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 2, 11:00AM at Coventry Brethren Church, 946 Keen Rd, Pottstown, PA 19465.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron’s name to Justice Rescue, PO Box 112, Woodland, PA 19094.
