Jeanette M. Paul, 74, of Gilbertsville

Jeanette M. Paul, 74, of Gilbertsville, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at home. Born on November 9, 1943 in West Rockhill Township, PA, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Zepp) Merkel.

Jeanette was mostly a homemaker, but had worked for Osan Manufacturing Company in Boyertown for 14 years. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, biking, and playing bingo and canasta.

Jeanette is survived by three children, Mary A. (Joseph) Jeffries of Douglassville, PA, Brenda Paul of Audubon, PA, and James (Erin) Paul of Reading, PA; one brother, Richard (Judy) Merkel of Souderton, PA; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rose Wert, and three siblings, Robert and Leroy Merkel and Betty Skora.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at Valley Forge Baptist, 616 S. Trappe Road, Collegeville, Pennsylvania on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:30 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Lamar Eifert. Burial will be held privately in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM at the Church.
