Hamilton, Phoenixvil­le top Collegium Charter, 69-59

Steven Hamilton headed a quartet of double-figure scorers that enabled the Phoenixvil­le boys basketball team to outscore Collegium Charter, 69-59, in their non-league game Tuesday night.

Hamilton scored 20 points to lead Phoenixvil­le, which built a 38-26 halftime lead. K.J. Quinn added 16 while Quinn Danna and Colton Brown had 10 apiece. PERKIOMEN SCHOOL 72, LAWRENCEVI­LLE 69 » The Panthers dueled with the Larries to an all-even regulation-time showing, then went on to win the nonleague contest in overtime.

added 12 points and Titus Wilkins posted 10. BISHOP MCDEVITT 60, POPE JOHN PAUL II 42 » The Lancers jumped out to a 22-9 lead by the half and cruised to a non-conference win against the Golden Panthers. UPPER PERKIOMEN 54, OLEY VALLEY 40 » Liam Boyle and Will Walker combined for 31 points to key the Indians’ non-league victory over the Lynx.

Boyle collected a gamehigh 19 points while Walker added 12. Their efforts were key to UP (2-1) taking an 18-7 first-quarter lead that held up the rest of the way.

DANIEL BOONE 55, BRANDYWINE HEIGHTS 38 » Madison Spitko went 11-for-11 at the line en route to a gamehigh 21 points as the Blazers handled the Bullets in a non-divisional pairing of Berks Conference member schools.

Kaylie Walker and Courtney Gabbert also scored in double figures, each collecting 11 points for Boone as it outscored Brandywine by nine in the third quarter to take a solid 17-point lead. POTTSGROVE 55, OLEY VALLEY 28 » Sierra Potts scored a game-high 16 points to lead the Falcons past the Lynx in non-conference play.

Graham had 14 points, seven steals and six rebounds to help Phoenixvil­le (2-0) open a 26-8 lead in the first half, prior to the locals outscoring their guests in the second half by a 32-21 margin. Hannah Sands chipped in with six points and six assists while Ameerah Green added 13 points. POTTSTOWN 52, HARRY S. TRUMAN 42 » Ebony Reddick hit for a game-high 22 points to key the Trojans’ non-league victory over Harry S. Truman.

Reddick was one of three Pottstown players to hit double figures, the trio fueling its rebound from a 9-4 first-quarter deficit to a 1917 halftime lead. Kelly scored 12 points in the second half, during which Upper Perk outscored its visitors 22-18. Kaitlyn Mundy added 11 points in the win with eight points in the second half. Hannah LaBonge led Quakertown with eight points. GREAT VALLEY 47, NORRISTOWN 21 » The Eagles were outscored by the Patriots in all four quarters on the way to a non-conference loss.

Georgia Werkiser paced Norristown with 11 points whiloe Beyonce Collins finished with eight points.

Boys swimming

PENNINGTON PREP 110, PERKIOMEN SCHOOL 54 » A victory by their 400 free relay was one of the brighter moments for the Panthers in their non-league meet with Pennington Prep.

The foursome of Eric Glanter, Jeremy Amaro, Dustin Wheeler and Thomas Csisek combined to swim a 4:16.02, 43 seconds ahead of Perkiomen’s second-place quartet of Jose Aviles, Fan Fei, Yuyang Wang and Azar Afellah. Ryu Noguchi accounted for Perkiomen’s lone individual win, taking the 100-yard breast in 1:15.83.

Girls swimming

PENNINGTON PREP 109, PERKIOMEN SCHOOL 56 » Kirsten Carr was the Panthers’ lone winner of an individual race in their nonleague meet with Pennington Prep.

Carr took the 100 breast in 1:29.60. Perkiomen’s only other winner was its 400 free relay, which clocked a 5;14.15.

Wrestling

PERKIOMEN VALLEY 69, BISHOP MCDEVITT 9 » The Vikings went on a pinning tear in their non-league victory over McDevitt.

Stephen Coleman (126), Dalton Davis (132), Cody Jefferies (138), Austin Rowley (145), Matt Wrzesniews­ki (160) and Jahir Holmes (285) all scored falls for PV, which also benefited from five forfeits. Willie Mathis rounded out the Vikes’ scoring with an 11-10 decision at 195.
