Take a look at what friends and neighbors are saying about local hot topics and join in on the conversation.

Way to go Pottstown, only school in the area that didn’t have a twohour delay. Way to think of the children who have to walk in the snow because people don’t shovel their sidewalk. I guess next time me and my kids will just make our own two-hour delay since you don’t have the sense to do it yourself.

This so-called team investigating Trump is full of the most biased unethical bunch it’s pitiful. I can’t wait to see how this ends. The whole Democratic Party is so full of lying and cheating from the convention to the FBI and the last administration. All the lies, leaking and destruction of evidence is what should be in the spotlight. And I watch news that reports real news, not their personal

opinions, untruths or just ignored good news.

Let’s hear it for the people of Alabama. They voted for a decent man in Doug Jones and against the child molester like Roy Moore. Donald Trump, Steve Bannon and the rest of the right wing again were wrong as usual. First Collegeville goes democratic and now Alabama. The blue wave is coming. Welcome to the future.

I’m going to quote the “USA Today” editorial board Dec. 13, 2017. “A president who would call Sen. Gillibrand a whore is not fit to clean the toilet of the Barack Obama Presidential Library. Trump’s

utter lack of morality, ethics and simple humanity has been underscored during his 11 months in office.”

The Alabama special election for the Senate has been reportedly easily won by a 93 percent turn out of African American women. Donald Trump immediately retaliated by firing the only African American woman in his entourage. Omarosa, you’re fired, again. Hilarious.

Tuesday evening my bride and I attended the Owen J. Roberts Middle School Christmas Concert which my granddaughter performed in. The exuberance of the choral director was incredible and her enthusiasm showed in a terrific

performance by the students. Hats off to a job well done.

We see where women are coming out against everybody now, not only people in politics, in Hollywood and the work place. Now what may happen from what I’m hearing is a lot of these companies will not be hiring women anymore to try to stop this, which probably isn’t right but I guess they have to fight back somehow if this is just going to keep going on and on, especially allegations that have happened 20, 30, 40 years ago. So we’ll see if this is the next step.

His name is Jesus, He is the son of God and we celebrate His birthday on

Dec. 25 even though we know He was born sometime in October. It was convenient and understandable several hundred years ago. It was a better date for all the new people who had never heard about the son of God. And now we need to broadcast the message that Christmas is a birthday not a holiday.

Whatever your faith, pick up any Bible and turn to Luke 1:41. All will say the same thing, when Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting the baby or babe in her womb leaped for joy, a baby not a fetus. Babies waiting to be born, will they have life or death? If Roy Moore in Alabama had done 35 years ago those things as stated, that’s wrong; but it pales in comparison to what

Doug Jones stands for, one of which is taking human life.

To the person that called in about Viagra, my exact thoughts as well. But have you noticed? I haven’t seen Viagra commercials lately. They should’ve banned that a long time ago. Too much of this sex stuff going on in the United States.
