Arlene Mae “Sis” (Gaugler) Keller, 83, of Reading, formerly of Stowe, widow of Robert H. Keller, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at Reading Hospital.

Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Leidy K. Gaugler and the late Stella M. (Ziegler) Gaugler.

She was a 1952 graduate of Pottsgrove High School where she was class vice president.

Arlene was employed at various places over the years including Bechtel Corp., Levengood’s Flower Shop of Stowe as a delivery driver, and Pottstown School District as a van driver/courier.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Stowe.

Sis was a regular at Karpy’s Tavern in Stowe for many years.

She is survived by three sons, Robert A. Keller, Hayden, Colorado, David S. Keller husband of Angela, Colorado, James M. Keller husband of Granitanne, Kauai, Hawaii; two daughters, Bonnie L. wife of Walter Bohnenblus­t, Reading, Wendy A. wife of Dan Lorah, Douglassvi­lle; a step sister in law, Barbara J. Wojiechows­ki, Royersford; thirteen grandchild­ren, Eric, Evan, & Alec Bohnenblus­t, Alyssa, Elizabeth, Courteney, & Courtlan Keller, Benjamin, Clinton & Zachary Keller, Paige Keller, Louis & Nicholas Lorah; and six great grandchild­ren, Charlotte & Hunter Bohnenblus­t, Cooper & Emma Lowery, and Ava & Niko Keller. She was predecease­d by three brothers, LaVerne R., Leidy L., David L. Gaugler.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Saturday January 20, 2018 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiatin­g will be Reverend John Smolik. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:30 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
