To the Pottstown Police Department and Chief Drumheller. We hear on and on that our East End 25 mph speed limits and tailgaters are not being enforced — Moser Road, South Keim Street from High to Cross Street, Center Avenue, East High Street, for that matter the whole town. Nothing is being done out there and being enforced. Tickets to drivers should be given out or do we need help from other departments?

I have seen firsthand your taxes and mine wasted. I work in an educational institution where my $100,000-plus boss likes playing pranks all the time. This is no exaggeration. He loves shrinkwrapping things like a car of another administrator or wrapping a few desks and chairs together. Yes it is material paid by taxpayers. With cameras purchased and in specific locations maybe there should be one put in the office too. I can’t believe he’s getting away with his antics.

Since no Democrat in the House or the Senate voted for this tax cut I have a good idea. Why don’t the Democrats in the House and in the Senate donate that money that they’re going to save from this tax cut to charity?

Mark Furlong’s last Sound Off takes the cake hands down. He is advocating our elected officials should be the responsible ones to determine what college curriculum should receive funds. Arts and communications students are out. These are the same politicians who give the most money to the highest ranking high schools in Montgomery County. The rich can afford the best teachers therefore they have the best grades. Should they get the most money? DP

I said it before and I’m going to say it again, the current tax structure is unconstitutional. It was that way from the beginning.

Congress has done nothing to change it. It’s called a flat tax and it would fix all the wrongdoings from over 100 years. Our elected officials are looking at their own bank accounts not you the voters. I hope you remember that in May. Get A Broom

The last time we had a Republican in control of our country the unemployment rate hit 12 percent. That resulted in the worst recession since the Great Depression. To make matters worse our president attacked a country after 9/11 that had nothing to do with the attack on our country. It is my guess this president will make that gloom and doom look like the good old days. Very troubling.

I’m sure Special Counsel Mueller has Republicans on his team that do not like the Clintons. Everyone has an opinion. However this investigation will be determined by the facts. It could be that Trump is innocent but he sure doesn’t help his own cause.

I would like to give a shout-out to the Coventry Parlor Luncheonette located in Coventryville on Route 23 next to The Wooden Nickel. The luncheonette is clean with friendly service, homemade soups and baked goods. Try it for your breakfast or lunch. You will not be disappointed.

In 1929 Republicans held the majority in Congress for a full decade and eventually gained control of the White House. They cut regulations across the board and slashed taxes on the top 1 percent. They promised the wealth would leak through on those below but it never did. Within months our nation entered the Great Depression as millions lost their jobs and families starved. Sound familiar? A Concerned Senior Citizen Mr. Costello we’re still waiting to hear from you for CHIP. Don’t throw our kids under the bus like you did to seniors and middle class. Those raises for the middle class are only temporary anyway. Jay Miller

Calling about the sexual accusations. Nobody said anything about old back-rub Joe Biden when he was standing behind President Obama rubbing people’s shoulders, women and little girls.

To our government and our president, with the corporate tax, all those huge tax breaks, why don’t you put into law and make it mandatory that the workers get $10 to $15 an hour starting in February and not let all that money go to management and the CEOs in their pockets? Let’s start hearing about employees. What are you going to do for them? Let’s hear someone talk about that.

Hey Jay Miller even baseball teams hire managers who never managed before. Just remember, life’s a dance. Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow. Jim Dandy

Unwed fathers should have to pay for their children and unwed mothers’ bodies should be fixed so they cannot bear anymore children.

I sent 14 Christmas cards out this year. I only got one Christmas card. I wonder why do I even send them out if no one even cares. All the other years I got 14, 15, 16 cards. The heck with it. If no one cares I might not send any next year.
