Ruth J. Pennypacker, 93, of Chester Springs

Ruth J. Pennypacker, 93, wife of the late Charles Pennypacker, of Chester Springs, PA died Monday, December 25, 2017 in Phoenixville Hospital.

Born on November 10, 1924 in Mifflinburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Hazel Musser. Mrs. Pennypacker worked as a packer for many years at the former Stanley G. Flagg Company, Stowe, PA before retiring .

She was a member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Chester Springs, PA.

Mrs. Pennypacker is survived by son Kenneth R., husband of Marion Pennypacker, of Chester Springs, PA; and grandson Charles Herzog. She was predeceased by daughter Judith Civitello, late wife of William Civitello, of Malvern, PA; and siblings Robert Musser, Lee Musser and Eleanor Schaffer.

Her Graveside Service will be held at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, 2440 Conestoga Road, Chester Springs, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Officiating will be Rev. Tina L. Mackie. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 2440 Conestoga Road Chester Springs, PA 19425.
