I am saddened to see St. Aloysius Cemetery on High Street in such bad shape. Some stones are sinking or broken, others worn so bad from the weather that you can hardly see the name and date. How can this be corrected and show respect for those who have passed? Are there any grants that can be used for cemeteries in the community to upkeep some of the historic stones? Diana

Nationwide there are 4 million ineligible names on voter rolls. Two-hundred-fifty counties have more names on their rolls than they have people. In Virginia, control of the House of Delegates is expected to be determined by a de facto “coin flip” to resolve a tie in one district. Single votes matter as do clean voter rolls. Mark Furlong

Hey Jay Miller, you’re worried about judges that never argued a case. Your legislators signed Obamacare into effect and never even read it. Robo 48

What a difference a year makes. Last year we had a president that brought dignity and class to the White House. This year we have an obnoxious liar that keeps telling us how great he is, brags about groping women. He’s disgusting. He has done next to nothing for the good of the country and turned our allies against us. Everything he has done seems to be intended to get the rest of the world mad at us.

I just want to thank all you Republicans out there that made tough times a whole lot tougher. Again thank you.

In a recent poll there’s more people who want to see Donald Trump impeached than there are to see him re-elected. Jay Miller Trump’s administration threat to retaliate against nations that exercise sovereign right in UN to oppose U.S. position on Jerusalem is beyond outrageous. It shows Trump expects loyalty from everyone. These are qualities found in narcissistic and vengeful dictators. When do we ever threaten to cut off foreign aid because a sovereign country disagrees with us? How about when we expect others to work with us at the UN to pressure North Korea or Iran? Clark S. Just an absolutely amazing job by the Owen J. Roberts High School band and jazz band at their holiday concert. They played “The Polar Express” like professionals and I felt like I was hearing the actual soundtrack with the movie presentation. Thanks OJR band for the early Christmas present.

I just want to give a shout-out to Social Security. I want to thank them for giving me 15 cents more in my Social Security. Wow now I can go out and buy a car.

I am so angry with our governments in Harrisburg and Washington, D.C., that I removed all the “Do Not Remove” labels on pillows and all types of clothing. I’m angry. Night Light

Stock market up, unemployment down, now the new tax bill Trump promised passed despite Democratic lies. Time for Pelosi and Schumer to go. Way to go prez, drain that swamp.

To the people calling about Ed Hanna on Channel 69 news, he recently took a medical leave. It was on his Facebook page. He did a video blog saying he needed a break because he was burned out doing weather 24/7. So hope this clears up your question. A 69 News Viewer

Congratulations to Boyertown for getting state aid to help beautify and occupy Boyertown. Now maybe they can use some of that money to have turn lanes in the middle of Boyertown at Philadelphia and Reading avenues. I’m tired of sitting there through two cycles of lights just to make a turn. Please help us.

I got the most beautiful beautiful planter with roses in and a candle from my niece for Christmas from Levengood’s. I called and thanked them because they are absolutely beautiful.

President Trump, you lie. I make $8.15 an hour. I’m not going to see a bigger paycheck and it’s thanks to you and the government only caring about the middle class and the wealthy. There are other people in the world that you guys refuse to recognize as working people. Shame on you guys.

Royersford Borough Council has a Christmas present for the residents of Royersford. They’ve raised the trash fee another $20. Continue The Progress

I can’t wait for the midterm elections so we can show Republicans what we think of their tax bill. Toomey, Costello and the rest of them have to go. They think we’re not smart enough to know that they’re lying to us.

I want to thank our Mercury carrier Bill Moore for the fantastic job he does each and everyday. Thanks Bill for a job well done.
