Pottstown: A New Year’s Day Labyrinth Walk will be hosted from 1 to 4 p.m. on Monday at Unitarian Universali­st Fellowship of Pottstown, 1565 S. Keim St. Enjoy this opportunit­y to walk, journal, meditate or simply rest by the candlelit Chartres-style Labyrinth. All are welcome. Free of charge. No registrati­on required.

First Presbyteri­an

Pottstown: There will be no Sunday School on Sunday at First Presbyteri­an Church. There will be a Worship Service of Lessons, Readings And Carols at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Centennial Lutheran

Kimberton: There will be a 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday of Lessons and Carols with the reading of Scripture alternatin­g with the singing of Christmas carols at Centennial Lutheran Church, 1330 Hares Hill Road . All are welcome.

Christ Lutheran

Barto: There will be one worship hour of 9 a.m. on Sunday at Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road. This will be a service of Lessons and Carols led by congregati­on members Kathy Bittner and Heather Moser.

St. Luke’s Lutheran Obelisk: A blood drive for Miller/ Keystone will be hosted from 8 a.m. to noon today at Saint Luke’s Lutheran Church, Route 73 and Neiffer Road.

Bethel Community

Pottstown: The “First Sunday After Christmas” service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Bethel Community Church of Pottstown, 575 N. Keim St. The Praise Power Choir will be singing. The entire community is invited to Watch Night/New Year’s Eve service at 10:30 p.m. with special music by Hezekiah Hill, Gwen Hill, Hettie Webb and Gina Hunte.

St. James Lutheran

Limerick: A service of Lessons and Carols will start at 10 a.m. on Sunday at St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Road. The Christmas Story will be told through the reading of Biblical passages and the singing of carols.

Trinity UCC

Pottstown: Members of Trinity United Church of Christ, 60 N. Hanover St., will celebrate Christmas with singing of carols and the reading of the Christmas story at the 9:30 a.m. worship on Sunday. There will be no Sunday School. Beginning this week, the church office hours will change. The office will be open from Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and closed every Monday.

St. Peter’s Lutheran

Pottstown: The First Sunday of Christmas will be celebrated with a Lessons and Carols Service at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 564 Glasgow St., with Sherry Mann as the Worship Leader. Reading the seven Lessons will be Melinda Deamer and Sherry Mann. Sunday School and Catechetic­al Classes will resume on January 7. The Church Women will begin the new year with Bingo at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Devotions by June Wright and the Hostesses are Nancy Weaver and Anna Stetler.

St. John’s UCC

Pottstown: No Sunday School will be held on Sunday at St. John’s United Church of Christ. Members will be serving the Community Meal at Trinity UCC on Tuesday.

Mt. Herman Baptist

Pottstown: New Year’s Eve worship will be held from 9:30 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. on Sunday at Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church sponsored by “Women On The Move” with Min. Regina Astiemer and friends. All are invited.

Zion’s UCC

Pottstown: Rev. Kimberly Stryjak will serve as guest minister at the 10:15 a.m. worship service on Sunday at Zion’s United Church of Christ, Hanover and Chestnut streets. She was ordained as a UCC minister in 2011, has served as a hospice chaplain and enjoys being a supply minister. There will be no children’s Sunday School. Women’s Fellowship will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pastor Austin Chinault will share his mission trip experience in Costa Rica. The church will again host the January Homeless Shelter. In addition to volunteeri­ng to cook and serve meals help is needed to provide a variety of supplies: coffee, regular and decaf, tea, bottled water, small toiletries, juices, cereal, peanut butter and jelly and small snack bags of pretzels, chips and popcorn. St. Luke Lutheran

Boyertown: The 9:30 a.m. service on Epiphany Sunday at St. Luke Lutheran Church will focus on the gifts of the Wise Men to the Christ Child. During the sermon, six members of the church will present stories about the best gift they ever gave, or received. Presenting their stories will be Lorelai Ingram, Pam Ferraro, Pete Huber, Pat Hallman, Ruth Ann Shaner and Kathy Billger. Following the service, a wonderful celebrator­y event will be held in Memorial Hall. Church members were successful in contributi­ng over $750 to purchase a family farm, somewhere in God’s Global Barnyard! Additional monies collected will be presented to those in attendance so that they can vote on what to purchase with the remaining money. Members are asked to bring their gifts to the event — baked goods, doughnuts, breakfast cakes, leftover Christmas cookies, etc. The Community Clothing Rack will be open for distributi­on from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Second Baptist

Pottstown: New Year’s Eve Watch Night service will be held at 10 p.m. on Sunday at Second Baptist Church, 507 N. Adams St. All are invited.
