Madeline H. ‘Tootsie’ Butler, 87, of Phoenixville

Madeline H. “Tootsie” Butler, 87, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Thursday, December 28, 2017 in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA.

Born on December 25, 1930 in Malvern, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carmen and Mary G. (Taraborelli) Benedetto.

She worked as a Nursing Assistant at Pennhurst Center, retiring in 1991, and then at the Southeastern Veterans Center in Spring City, PA.

Surviving are, son, David Gardner, daughter, Gail Ann Forehand, son, Fred Butler, son, Sam Butler, daughter, Barbara Butler, 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sister, Rose Whitson of Lansdale, PA.

She was preceded in death by daughter and sons, Peggy Scheetz, Raymond Butler, Barry Butler, brothers and sisters, Ida Baker, Ann Beatty, Mildred Ferrino, Jessie Benedetto, Christine Bearden, Nicholas Benedetto and Robert Benedetto.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Nathan Coleman officiating.

Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.

A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
